Swifties at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, were treated to a special surprise when Taylor Swift herself showed up for a visit.
Footage shared by fans via social media showed Swift, 35, spending time with patients, family members and staff at the hospital on Friday, June 13.
In one video posted via X, the “Cruel Summer” singer, who wore a green belted maxi dress, walked into a patient’s room and giggled as she said, “Nice to meet you. I like your hair. That’s so cool!”
Meanwhile, a photo showed Swift posing with a young boy named Judah, whose face was covered by an angel face emoji, “before his transfusion.”

A clip shared via TikTok showed Swift chatting with a group of staff members before she left the hospital. She could be heard telling them, “It’s been such an amazing day.”
The hospital’s Chief of Surgery, Dr. Jill S. Whitehouse, took to Instagram after the visit to share a photo of herself posing with the pop star.
“Chief of Surgery meets Chief of the World! Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting,” Dr. Whitehouse captioned the post. “Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today!”
This wasn’t the first time that Swift has paid a special visit to sick pediatric patients, as she previously stopped by Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City in December 2024. There, she gifted signed copies of her Eras tour book, took selfies with fans and even sent one lucky patient named Naya a matching outfit one week later.
Swift’s visit to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital came one day after she and boyfriend Travis Kelce attended the Stanley Cup Finals in Sunrise, Florida. The couple was spotted holding hands as they walked into the Amerant Bank Arena, where they watched the Edmonton Oilers take on the Florida Panthers. Swift and Kelce, 35, also shared a sweet kiss during the game.
The lovebirds have kept a low profile since Super Bowl LIX in February, where the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. While some fans were concerned about the status of Swift and Kelce’s relationship, which went public in September 2023, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple is simply taking a break from the spotlight.
“They are making fewer public appearances together because [their relationship] brings too much unwanted attention,” the insider said. “There isn’t trouble in paradise.”

However, Swift and Kelce, 35, have made a few rare public appearances in recent months, including a Mother’s Day visit to Philadelphia and date nights in Florida. Much of their time has been spent in the Sunshine State of late, as Kelce temporarily moved to Boca Raton, Florida, to practice for the upcoming NFL season.
“Florida has been the perfect escape for them,” a second insider told Us. “Taylor has been coming and going to Florida and is still spending a lot of her time in NYC.”
A third insider added, “She is trying to spend as much time with him as she can by going to Boca. They are doing stuff separately out of necessity because of his training, but when they find time to connect, it’s intentional and meaningful.”
